Goodbye my lover...
Sigh...I just had to cancel my satellite. So sad. I know I should be willing to give that up before food. But...I can really get creative with the food I have here. But without TV...I don't know what I will do. That is pretty sad. Oh well. Luckily I have one of those DVD players that records TV So this week while I am at Cali's I am going to have to record kids shows the whole time. The time they watch TV everyday really gives me some peace and quiet.

You will totally be fine with out TV, We have actually done it and you will be surprised at what you can get done with out it. If you watch shows... get netflicks and watch the season in one night. Have fun watching all the kids while they are in China!-n
Ash -
I'm always impressed when we go over to Tyler and Nicole's - no TV! You DO get so much done. Go to the library and check out a bunch of DVD's for the kids and for yourself and use those for entertainment. I think it'll be a MAJOR withdrawl for a little while but you'll adjust and might even LOVE it?????? I can only 'talk' because we have TV but I have thought seriously about getting rid of it! You can do it and remember . . . it's only TEMPORARY.
We went without our satellite for a year---I feel your pain!
good luck. i know i couldn't do it, but you are probably stronger than me. ;)
Ash, because I know how hard this will be, I'm sharing my super secret TV sites with you... and all the other readers. So I guess the cats out of the bag. Enjoy.

That hurts my heart for you.
Another free site with sports tv is http://channelsurfing.net/. I use it during class sometimes.
Also- I know we no longer support sleepy ridge but can we still play for free out there? I figure if I pay I am supporting them but if its free I am beating the man.
Ya free golf is still on the table...I think?
