bone pictures

Here are the pictures of his x-ray...you can see the bone pointing up and then a little piece going down and then the rest of the bone is underneath. So it is shaped like a Z. The top bone and the bottom bone just kept rubbing against the middle bone. And the top bone is what was trying to poke out of his skin.

Here is the picture of the bone after the surgery. Pretty awesome huh...Can you believe how bunched up the bones were before...no wonder he was hurting so bad.

Cortney talking on the phone this morning...he has to get up and walk around every hour or so. He is pretty tired and it is hard to talk on the phone...just to let you know. If you want to call and talk to him...keep it short. :) He is getting emails and can read them pretty good. His email is cortneyboice at gmail dot com

Thanks so much for all your well wishes. It is amazing how loved you feel when something like this happens. Cortney's parents left this morning and boy was it hard to see them leave. They have helped me so much...I don't know what I would have done without them.

OUch ash. Cool xrays though. Every single prayer in our house since sunday has been, "please bless uncle cortney so he can feel better." Or "we're grateful uncle cortney is okay." Hope things are getting easier.

Crazy x-rays

I think it's cute that you spelled out every word when you put his email address instead of just typing cortneyboice@gmail.com.

Yeah for blogs! Jory talks about Cort NON STOP lately!! He's always wanting to go over and call Cort to make sure everything is ok, but we know he needs lots of rest and things may still be overwhelming-so this is a perfect way to calm Cort's biggest fan down! LOL...

We are so glad the surgery went well. We have been praying for him all week. Man it looks bad, but I'm glad he is feeling alot better.
