Clutz

Today has not been my day. It started out good with just rob and me at target. He was being so good so I decided he could have an icee. He was so proud and excited as we headed to the car. But then he dropped it and it spilled everywhere. The I went inside to refill it only to drop it on the floor of the target food court. After that the day went down hill quickly. Rob spilled a bucket of paint. Then I spilled the oil from the cold deep fat fryer all down the front of myself. Then I started a grease fire as I made meatballs for dinner. And just now I fell down my stairs. From the top to the bottom. It hurt so bad. My right hip is already puffy and bruising. So I am calling it a night. I really just need to start a new day and put this clumsiness behind me.

She really did get jacked up when she fell down the stairs too. I was downstairs and I heard a thud, thud, thud, crash! bang, boom, splat. I can tell how badly she is hurt by how closely she will let me get to her. It appeared to be a doosey, so I went to her right away to start the nurturing, but right away she told me to get away (just like Connie) so I knew it was pretty bad. The problem with that is that I can't get in to see what is wrong with her, and if I do she starts to hit. Anyway she is going to be sooooore for like a week. What a perfect way to end the day:(

Ohhhhh man - not good! I think you're going to have to post a "DANGER" sign at the top of those stairs - or provide sleds! So sorry, Ash - imagine GrandmaB doing that - you'd have to dig a grave right then and there! Cort, glad you were close by - even for moral support. BE CAREFUL. Love you guys -

Ouch! Hopefully you're not hurting too badly today.

Cort, it is quite possible that she chose not to let you see up close where she was hurt do to its location and knowing closer inspection would lead you elsewhere and therefore no nurturing would have been done on your part. And simply put, she was in no mood for that sort of thing right after falling down the stairs. LOL

Ash, I hope you're ok and I think your right...after a day like that it's best to just turn in early and start fresh the next day.

Sorry about your multiple mishaps! I loathe days like that. I hope your not too bruised and achy today--but if you are--try soaking in a hot bath with epsom salts; it really helps that sort of thing.
