It's official...

I just got made the primary president for our ward.

It is very rare that I am rendered speechless...this was one of those times.

I had to say good bye to my Young Women, yesterday at church. I was crying. I never cry. It has been a great 5 years. I really love the girls...and the other leaders that I served with...like really love.

Hmmm...I know nothing about primary. Luckily, I have tons of sisters and friends with lots of experience...and...I picked really good counselors so that helps.

Pretty scary, huh?

You're going to do great! Just think of them just like the YW, without the teenage drama.

I have always felt more comfortable around older children, so primary would freak me out! You'll do great though.

Holy-moly! (((((blessings))))) - it's a great trade-off!!!!! You'll be GREAT - the kids will love you BUT, I know the feeling of having to leave YW! If I were put in RS - I wouldn't have a CLUE what it's all about? You JUST THOUGHT you had a breather from your kids for a few hours each week - hahaha! I'll be praying for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ash! That is so exciting. I had no idea. You will be so good. The kids will love you. Who are your counselors? I remember feeling the same way when I was called to primary from being in YW's. I felt so out of my element. But I'm the primary president here in our ward in Lehi and I love it. It's a lot of work, but the kids are so precious and I learn so much from them.I miss you! Let me know if you need any help or anything.
