nap

Yesterday when Oliver got home for school Rob and I laid down to take a little nap. Um...two hours later I woke up and came up stairs (Rob was still asleep) and Cortney was home and asleep on the couch and Oliver was asleep on the recliner. We were all exhausted. Rob woke up around 4 (three and a half hours of sleep) so we went over to visit the neighbors while Cortney and Oliver napped on. Oliver slept until 5:30. With all of the hours of sleep we all got I knew they couldn't go to sleep at 7 like usual so we decided to go to the park.

Oliver got a bike for his birthday but it has been really hard for him to find time to ride it. I don't have a bike so I can't really go with him and there is no where for him to ride by himself (one of the many downfalls of living in a "city"). Cortney recently got a bike from his dad so he hooked up the kid trailer and the three boys headed out for a bike ride. Once they got going Oliver said "this is WAY funner than playing the computer, I wish I could do this everyday!" How sad is that? Sad. Oliver loves playing the computer it is his favorite thing to do...but I guess he had never felt the wind in his face, he must be a Boice after all. We had a great night at the park(oh...I met them at the park...I drove). (man I really need to get them out more.)

Your blog has the greatest pictures ever. I love the one of Ollie smiling on the playground with the mountains. Very cool.

We could spend hours outside and Elsie still wouldn't have enough. She loves it. Thank goodness for the park. Yes, your pictures are always amazing.

How fun - those guys should have been 'wired' for the rest of the night! I love going to the park - looks like you were having some great weather. Oli is getting really BIG - just look at him! Man, there's nothing like a good nap.

That picture of "Wally" is so cute! Just teasing...I just remembered about how you told me the kids at school were calling Oliver Wally and it made me laugh out loud :)
