Late last night Cali called me and said that Joey had an extra LEGACY ticket to the BYU vs. UCLA game...and was wondering if I wanted to go. Cortney already had a ticket thanks to Ethan up in the boxes...so I was soooo excited and jumped at the chance to go to the game. These seats are GOOD 40 yard line a couple rows up right behind our team. They come with all you can eat deliciousness...they are amazing. THANKS JOEY! Then thanks to Corrinne my fave babysitter for agreeing at such short notice to watch the kids. They love her and she is AMAZING.
So anyways this morning Tyson was baptized. It was such a great thing to see. It made me miss miss miss my parents so much. When I was blessing them in the closing prayer, I could barely speak. It was so great to be gathered as a family (Park's and Emigs included in my big family). What a great blessing to see the baptism of a child. I am so proud of him and can't believe that little guy I met 8 years ago is old enough to be baptized.
Cali and Joey scheduled the baptism so we could have it, and still make it in time for the pre game buffet. Ohhh I ate and ate and ate. I was so nervous and excited for the game. Right when it started up Cosmo came near our seats. Now...I have a weird crush on cosmo. I know that he is a man in a cougar costume but I just love him. He can do some sweet tricks and just has so much BYU pride. So as he came by I screamed as loud as I could (which is loud by the way) "Cosmo I love you"...He looked over and pointed at me then started to make his way over. He came over and gave me a huge hug...I told him I loved him (hahaha) and Cali said "she really does." It was awesome. Then there was the game. AMAZING. 59-0 we slaughtered them. It was supposed to be a close game too. We played so well. OHHH I can't say it enough it was a great game. Thanks to JOEY, ETHAN, and CORRINE, for making it possible.

I must say I especially like this blog... especially the parts about me. Wonderful and SO true... Haha, just kidding
haha...I love the Cosmo story. So great you got some lovin' from him, finally.
Okay, Ashley. I think I know right where that is, and now I'm sure I saw Cali for the NIU game a couple of weeks ago. Our tickets are about 2 rows up and 5 seats over from where I saw her sitting. I kept thinking, I know that gal from somewhere.....Then almost towards the end of the game it dawned on me that I recognized her from your blog. And by the time the game was over she was gone before I could go over and introduce myself. Too bad I wasn't there yesterday--Duff invited some of his co-workers who graduated from UCLA to come up for the weekend and he took them and our son-in-law. Nats and I stayed at the cabin to watch the game and have some 'girl time' together. We go home today, but will be back for Wyoming!
you're welcome, that was a sweet game!!
i love when we win big like that!
