happy mother's day to me...

One of the things I am most thankful for in this life is motherhood...I am so grateful to be a mother, and to have a mother (actually 2).

Not a day goes by that I don't thank my Heavenly Father for blessing me with children. Even when Rob is screaming he is going to "kick me in the face"...even then I am so in love with that little boy. My life is so blessed to have them, all three.

It has never been so clear to me as it is now with little Henry added to our family. It is such a difference with him here. After going for so long without a little baby in the house...really, really made me feel how special it is to have a baby in the home (makes me want another one...makes me want a million more...I know that is the hormones speaking though).

Almost every day I think..."I want my mom". Having my parents on two missions in a row is really hard. I miss her and am thankful for her example to me. She really did such a good job raising us kids (obviously...hahaa). I hope to be 1/8th of the mom she is.

Lastly...I am so thankful for my Mother in law. Especially when my mom is a world away. She is so loving and always an example of compassion and love to me.

Oh heck...while I am at it...I have 3 living Grandmas...all of whom I love with my whole heart...and I feel like I am good friends with all of them too. How lucky am I to be surrounded by such great women??

Happy mothers day to all of us.

Lucky me...Fast Sunday and 9:00 church. So no breakfast in bed and no sleeping in...my two favorite things on mothers day. Boo Hoo.
